A message from Goodspeed:
If you're comfortable with the command line, I'd encourage you to check out the options, but you don't need to know anything in particular in order to use this.
To have the program quiz you in random order and repeat questions in a learning pattern, just double-click the file called "random quiz th67".
It'll exit automatically when it's convinced that you know all the answers.
To have the program test and grade you exactly as it'll happen on Monday, just double-click the file called "sequential test th67". It'll exit automatically when it's asked all the questions.
Both ways of using this program generate some statistics when they exit, or when you quit. To quit either one partway through, just press CTRL-C.
Hopefully this helps you all,
-Peter
PS: If you're interested in how it works, the source is all in the /src directory. It's written in Python 2.5, which is a pretty easy language to pick up. If you've got an improvement, I'd love to see it! |
